Predeceased by her loving husband Jim and her brothers and sisters.

 

Josie was a lifelong member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and former President of the Society's St. Anne's Conference.

 



Josie passed away after a short illness and a long and dedicated life, in the wonderful care of her family, the Palliative Home Care Team and the carers from Home Instead.

 


Sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters, Mary, Catherine, Barbara, Bernie, Martina, Claire, her sons Matt, Ger, Nicky, Ray and Bernard, and their wives, husbands and partners, deeply missed by Susan, Emer, Alex, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren nieces, nephews and her many dear friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Monday (19th December) from 7 pm to 8:30 pm with prayers at 8:00 pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Wednesday (21st December) at 10:30 am in Ballybricken Church followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.
