(née Kelly)
Carmel Long, née Kelly, Lwr Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Clonfanlough, Clonmacnoise, Co. Offaly. Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne. Under the wonderful care of the staff of the Palliative Care Unit in Waterford University Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Michael. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family; husband Patrick, son Michael, sister Chrissie, brothers Peter and P.J. nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, father-in-law Richard, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles (E41 CP59) on Wednesday 12th April, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry, Thurles on Thursday, 13th April, at 11am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Clonmacnoise cemetery, Co Offaly (approx arrival at 2.30pm). Sympathies can be expressed in the condolence section below.
