DOWNES Eamon (Chapelizod, Dublin and formerly of Lismore Road, Kimmage, Dublin) April 23rd. 2023 (peacefully) after a short illness and in the loving care of the staff at St. James’ Hospital. Eamon, beloved husband of the late Maura and much loved father of Jackie, Valerie, Fiona, Eoin, Derek and Christine. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, sisters Marion and Nancy, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Lucan on Wednesday evening (April 26th) from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

House private on Thursday, please.

Removal to the Church of the Nativity of the B.V.M., Chapelizod on Friday morning (April 28th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.

Eamon’s Funeral cortege will pass his home on Friday morning at 11.15am for friends and family to pay their respects.
