Abdelhamid’s funeral prayer will take place after the Friday sermon on Friday, 15 March, at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland (Eircode D14 YD91).

The Muslim funeral prayer is very short, so please arrive at the ICCI Mosque no later than 1:30pm. Prayers will take place at 1:50pm, followed immediately by the funeral prayer. Shoes will need to be removed on entry into the prayer area. Women will attend on the balcony area and men in the main prayer hall. Dress code: loose clothing, covering arms and legs. At the request of the family women can wear a head scarf if they so wish.

As parking is limited on site and gates are closed when the car park is full, guests will need to find alternative legal parking close to the Mosque. There is overflow parking at the Church on Bird Avenue, approximately 7–8-minute walk from the Mosque.

All are welcome to attend the burial of Abdelhamid, which will take place at 3:00pm in the Muslim Cemetery in Newcastle, Greenoge, Baldonnell Business Park, Co. Dublin (Directions: please see the link below)
