O’Callaghan (née Tully), Abigail (Gail),

Palmerstown and formerly Ward Sister at Cherry Orchard Hospital, Dublin.

 

Died peacefully on Sunday, 1st February 2026, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, in the devoted care of Clontarf Hospital and the ICU at the Mater Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Dan, her parents Joan and Dan, and her dear brother Brian.

 

Abigail will be forever loved and deeply missed by her devoted son Danny and his partner Leona, her cherished granddaughters Ciara and Aoife, her adored great-granddaughter Erin, her sister Noeleen, brother Pat, niece Michelle, nephews Kieran and Patrick, sister-in-law Carmel, extended family, loyal friends, great neighbours and her little cat Kitty O’ Shea.

 

May she Rest in Peace.

Abigail will be reposing at her residence on Wednesday 4th February from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St Philomena, Palmerstown arriving for 10am funeral mass followed by burial at Palmerstown Cemetery.
