Cashman Banteer; On August 4th, 2025, peacefully, in the excellent care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Mallow General Hospital, Abina (née Casey), Clonmeen (formerly of Ballydesmond) beloved wife of the late Jackie and dear mother of Lisa and sister of Ned, Breeda (Duggan), Eileen (Lenihan), Dan, Mary (O’Sullivan) and the late John.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, grandchildren Zoe and Leah. son-in-law David (Venner), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May she rest in peace

Reposing at McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Banteer, Tuesday 5th August from 6.30pm followed by Prayers at 8pm. Reception into St. Fursey’s Church, Banteer on Wednesday 6th August for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/banteer followed by burial in St Fursey’s cemetery, Banteer.

Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Marymount University Hospital and Hospice.
