Ada Gibson
(née Dalton)

Ada Gibson (nee Dalton) of Walkinstown Drive, Dublin and more recently Castlemorris Mews, Tralee, has passed away peacefully (at Willow Brooke Care Home, Castleisland, Co. Kerry) on 19th October 2025 in her 98th year,

Ada moved to Willow Brooke in August 2025 having been in the loving care of the staff of Ocean View Nursing Home, Camp, Dingle Peninsula, since July 2022 (until its closure in August).

Ada is predeceased by her husband Tommy Gibson and her adored sons Tommy & Lar. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, the twins Adrienne & Hazel (Germany) & Ann, her son in law Frank, grandson Jack (& his wife Bradley in Ireland),

her late son Tommy’s family in Vancouver: her daughter-in-law Mary, granddaughter Katherine, grandsons Sean & Stephen (& his wife Yumiko), great grandchildren Sakura, Sienna, Liam, Sophie and Aidan,

her late son Lar’s family in Vancouver: her former daughter-in-law Barbara, grandsons Richard, Andrew & Brian (& his wife Carmen), great grandchildren Alice, Rory, Millie & Noa (& his partner Leah), in Germany: her granddaughter Olivia, great grandsons Leon & Connor, grandson Dean (& his wife Anna), great grandchildren, Joona, Luca, Max & Norah, in Japan: her grandson Niall (& his wife Yuko), great grandchildren Maya & Eido.

Rest in Peace.

Sadly Ada never met all of her great grandchildren but is missed by her nieces and nephews, neighbours and a wide lifelong circle of friends.

Requiem Mass for Ada will be celebrated on Wednesday (22nd October) at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rathass, Tralee, (V92DX62) Co. Kerry (Ada's Mass).

Interment on Saturday (25th October) at 11 a.m. at Shanganagh Cemetery, Dublin Rd, Cork Little, Bray, (A98 VX58) Co. Dublin.
