The death has occurred of Aedine Collins (née Codd) - Lynn, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath – March 19, 2024 (peacefully) in her 96th year, in the company of her loving family and in the excellent care of the Palliative Care Team at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick, grand-daughter Emma (Robinson) and brother Kieran. A much loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; Aedine will be dearly missed and remembered with great love by her family, David, Philo (Robinson), Peter, Tony, Irene (Hatchett), Aedine (Cooper) and Barry, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law Ann (Canada), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Thursday from 4 pm concluding with prayers at 6.30 pm. Aedine’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 1 pm in the Cathedral of Christ the King and may be viewed on the live webcam here. Burial will follow to Ballyglass Cemetery.
