The death has occurred of
Aeneas LEAHY
LEAHY, Aeneas, late of Rathfarnham and Pearse Street, passed away peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, on the 9th of January 2025, surrounded by his family, in the care of the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved husband of Catherine and adoring father of Patrick. Predeceased by his siblings Patrick, Phil, Nora, Margaret, Anne and Tommy; Aeneas will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter-in-law Thérèse, his cherished grandchildren Robert and Anna, brothers-in-law Michael and John, sisters-in-law Anne and Paula, nieces, nephews and all extended family, neighbours and friends.

Aeneas will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, D16 V046, on Monday evening (January 13th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (January 14th) to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, D14 E803, arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by a 12.15pm Cremation Service in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, D6W HY98.
