Aeneas McDonnell

Aeneas McDonnell of Bray, Co. Wicklow and late of RTE – February 15, 2024, peacefully, in his 87th year, at Blackrock Clinic. Beloved husband of the late Deirdre. Devoted and much loved father of Sharon and Fiona, adored grandad of Aoife, Conor, Ciara, Aisling and Dónal, great-grandad of Charlie and Jack, father-in-law and pal of Paul and Tony. Will be deeply missed by his family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his sister Marie.

The family wish to thank Mary and Gillian Mangan and the staff at Kinvara House Nursing Home, Bray for their kindness and care.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday (Feb.21) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (Feb.22) at 10.00am in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray, followed by committal Service at Colliers Funeral Home at 12.00noon.
