We would like to announce the death of Aggie O’Farrell (nee O’Gorman), beloved wife and mother. Aggie passed away surrounded by her family in the care of the staff at MUH Cork. Aggie had spent the previous 7 months in the excellent care of the staff at Amberley Nursing Home, Fermoy.
She may have been afflicted by illness over her lifetime but her determination and grit to carry on never wavered and served as an inspiration to all of us. We have no doubt she left on her own terms. She was always so grateful for her second chance at life and gained nearly 30 extra years which she enjoyed immensely. Her greatest love was our Father, Kevin, she adored him. She idolised all of us and her grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy to her. She will be forever missed by her husband Kevin, her children, Dave, Paul and Susie, her son in law David, her daughters-in-law Grainne and Shelly, her grandchildren Clodagh, Killian, Aisling, Kevin, Sarah, Kate, Zoe and Rachel, her twin sister and best friend Del, her sisters Anne and MaryPat. Her extended family, cherished neighbours and friends.
Aggie was predeceased by her brother John and sister Joan.
Aggie had a great life and loved all things sport, she also loved colour so please feel free to celebrate that with us on the day.
