Agnes Hegarty

On January 28th, 2026, peacefully in her 88th year, surrounded by her loving family, AGNES (née McCarthy), pre-deceased by her loving husband Joe and dear grandson Jason. Dearest mother of Cecelia, Tadhg, Evelyn and Anne, sister of the late Timmy, Christy and Hannie, mother-in-law of Gerry, Mary, Brian and Stephen, dear grandmother of Adam, Róisín, Colm, Seán, Chloe, Andrew and Harry.

Sadly missed by her loving family, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home ‘Hillcrest House’ (Eircode P75K372) on Sunday February 1st, from 2pm to 5pm, followed by vigil prayers.

Requiem Mass on Monday February 2nd, at 2pm at Star of the Sea Church, Kilcrohane, (Eircode P75 DW67), (to view live stream, click here) followed by burial in Kilcrohane cemetery.
