Agnes O'Mahony
(née Murphy)
O’MAHONY (Cork) On September 16th 2025 peacefully in the presence of her loving family at the Mercy University Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne with courage and dignity, AGNES (née Murphy), Closes Green, Farranree; beloved wife of Denis, devoted and loving mother of Alana, beloved daughter of the late Michael and Angela. Sadly missed by her loving husband, daughter, brother Michael, sisters Helen and Rose, Alana’s partner Peter, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brothers-in-law Noel, Philip, Michael and Terry, sisters-in-law May and Mira, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Wednesday, September 17th, from 5pm – 6pm with Prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday, September 18th, in the Church of The Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to All Saint’s Cemetery, Garrycloyne.
The family would like to thank Dr. Barry (G.P.), Consultant Clodagh Keohane and her Team, also her Carers and Catering Staff at the Mercy University Hospital.
