Agnes Walsh

Agnes Walsh, of Moyvoon, Oughterard, Co. Galway passed away on the 18th of June 2021. Predeceased by her father John James Walsh, mother Agnes Walsh and her brothers Michael and Patrick. Survived by sisters, Margaret, Cecilia, Mary and Bridget and brothers; John and Denis. Agnes and Cecilia shared a special bond and Cecilia gave her loving care. Fondly missed by all her nephews and nieces and extended family as well as the neighbours. Thanks to the staff at Oughterard Nursing Home for the care provided to Agnes in her final years.

Rest In Peace

A requiem mass will take place on Saturday the 26th of June in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Oughterard at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard. 

Due to ongoing government restrictions and public health guidelines around social gatherings, the funeral will be held privately. In line with the family’s wishes, anybody attending the Mass will be on a list compiled by them to help with contact tracing, as recommended by government guidelines. If you choose to attend the burial or stand in a guard of honour, please maintain social distancing and avoid hand shaking for the safety of all in attendance.
