Agnes Whelton
(née O'Connor)

Agnes Whelton (née O’Connor) of St. John’s Park, Tralee and formerly Scarteen, Blackwater, Co. Kerry, died peacefully, in the care of The Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry on 28th November 2025, beloved daughter of the late James & Bridie, dear mother of Paul, Carmel, Maureen and the late Anthony and sister of Jimmy, Donnie, Joan and the late Michael, John and Mary.

Sadly missed by her loving family, her grandchildren Sarah, Laura, Cathal and Dara, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Fiona, nephews, nieces, wonderful neighbours, kind carers, her extended family and many friends.

May Her Soul Rest in Peace.

Agnes will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Sunday (30th November) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Monday morning at 9.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Agnes will be celebrated at 10 a.m., followed by private cremation.
