Aidan Woods

Aidan Woods, Ashgrove, Ballinagh, Co.Cavan, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, June 21st 2024. Predeceased by his devoted wife Roisín and his parents Patrick and Mannie Woods, Killeshandra. Devoted father of Sharon (John Webb), Aisling (Paul Mc Dermott) and Garry (Emer Conlon). Adored grandfather of Alanah, Aaron, Holly, Caoimhe, Saoirse, Conor, Senán and Nessa. Aidan will be very sadly missed by his loving family and grandchildren, his brothers Michael, Seamus, Frank, Christy and Brendan, sisters Maureen Casey, Peg Duffy and Eileen Feeney, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan (H12C821) on Sunday evening from 5pm and concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from his home on Monday morning to St. Felim's Church, Ballinagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass the cortege will travel to the new Cemetery, Crossdoney Rd., for committal prayers and burial in the family plot. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care or The Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses c/o Mc Mahon Funeral Directors, Farnham Rd, Cavan.
