Aileen Byrne, Dalkey, County Dublin, June 27th 2024.
It is with profound sadness that the family of Aileen Byrne announces her death, in the care of the dedicated staff of the Blackrock Clinic. Aileen will be greatly missed by her loving family: her sisters, Rena and Vera; nephew Kevin and his wife Dagmar; niece Claire and her husband Joe; grandniece Ella and grandnephew Sam; sister-in-law, Shirley and brothers-in-law Tom and Larry, as well as her cousins and further extended family. Aileen also leaves behind a very wide circle of close friends drawn from childhood, her career in the Local Government Computer Services Board and her beloved Dalkey Players, of which she was a long-standing and devoted member.
Removal Monday, July 8th, from Quinn’s of Glasthule to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, arriving for 10am Funeral Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/dalkey followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross at 12.45pm.
