Ailish Kenny

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ailish Kenny (neé Kennedy), who passed away peacefully on Saturday the 13th of December in the Beacon Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

 

Ailish will be deeply missed and forever loved by her beloved family and wide circle of friends. She was a wonderful wife to Michael, a devoted mother to Niamh, Conor and Ciara, mother-in-law to Colin and Kayla and a doting granny to Calum, Ella, Dylan and CJ. She was the heart of her family and a treasured sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to so many. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth and generosity.

 

After bravely fighting cancer for over a year, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply. Her strength, grace, and unwavering love throughout her journey were an inspiration to all who knew her. She was taken from this world too soon but she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless precious memories.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Tuesday (16th December) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Colmcille’s Parish Church, Knocklyon arriving for Funeral Mass at 12pm followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery, Dublin 24.
