The death has occurred of
Áine Ennis
Áine Ennis passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on the 23rd of July 2023 following a courageous battle with cancer. Áine was a deeply compassionate person who, through her work and volunteering, supported countless persons in need throughout her life. Furthermore, Áine was a lifelong fighter for the rights of others, particularly children. Despite her illness, Áine enjoyed the final months of her life to their fullest and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Áine is survived by her son, Stephen, her daughter-in-law Dorota, her brothers Anthony and Liam, her sisters Molly and Elizabeth, her nieces and nephews and her many friends.
May she rest in peace.
Áine was a member of the Rathfarnham Preparative Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends in Ireland (Quakers). Her ashes will be laid to rest at the Friends’ Burial Ground located at Temple Hill, Blackrock, Dublin.
