Ó Cuireáin (née Ó Maoláin), Áine (Gleann Na gCaorach, Baile Átha Cliath agus as Contae Doire ó dhúchas). D’imigh Áine ar shlí na fírinne ar an 21ú Feabhra tar éis tinneas fada in Ospís na Carraige Duibhe, a clann ar fad ina teannta. Goileann a bás ar a clann: Máirín (Glenn), Seán (Marcia) and Aedín (Aditya), agus a garpháistí Féilim, Cian, Rosie and Bríona. Go huaigneach ina diaidh freisin tá a deirfiúireacha agus deartháireacha agus a gcuid gasúir uilig.

Aifreann 10.30 Dé Máirt (24ú Feabhra) i Séipéal Muire na mBua, An Naigín, Co. Baile Átha Cliath (A96 VY54). Cuirfear í ar an gCéadaoin (25ú Feabhra) ar maidin i Reilig Mhachaire Gathlán, Na Doire Beaga, Co. Dún na nGall.

Iarrtar gan bláthanna a thabhairt ach síntiús a chur chuig Our Lady’s Hospice, más mian.

 

 

Ó Cuireáin, Áine (née Anne Mullan) (Glenageary and formerly of Portstewart, Co. Derry) died February 21st 2026 peacefully in Blackrock Hospice surrounded by her loving family after a long illness faced with great courage. Predeceased by her husband Brianaí, daughter Caitlín, brothers Harry and Seán. She will be sorely missed by her children Máirín, Seán and Aedín and their spouses Glenn, Marcia, Aditya, her beloved grandchildren Féilim, Cian, Rosie and Bríona. Also her siblings Donal, Mary, Ciaran, Michael, Rita, Caitríona and their families.

Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís.

Reposing at her home on Monday (Feb 23rd) from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Removal on Tuesday (Feb 24th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 10.30am Requiem Mass. Burial on Wednesday morning (Feb 25th) in Magheragallon Cemetery, Derrybeg, Co. Donegal.
