Áine O'Connor
(née Coughlan)
O’CONNOR (Cork) On January 2nd, 2024, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Blarney Nursing Home, Áine (nee Coughlan) late of Riverview Estate, Ballyvolane. Dearly beloved wife of the late Paddy and much loved mother of John, Padraig, Helen and the late Mary and Maurice, devoted nanny of Rory, Evan, Kevin, Aisling, Grace, Niamh, Niall, Sinead and Thomás and great grandnanny of Bella, Sufjan and Maria, dearest sister of Noreen and Treasa. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughter-in-law Mary, John’s partner Mary, Kevin’s wife Roxy, Rory’s wife Beatrice, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Thursday (4th January) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary and prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (5th January) at 11.00am in St Joseph’s Church, Mayfield, Funeral afterwards to St Joseph’s Cemetery, Tory Top Road. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cork Cancer Research.
