(née Long)
SCULLY (Fahanalooscane, Ballinhassig, Co. Cork & formerly of Kedrah, Cahir, Co. Tipperary); On February 21st, 2025, peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, in the presence of her family and in the exceptional care of the staff of Marymount Hospice ÁINE (née Long), beloved wife of Seán, loving mother of Marc and Mairéad, cherished granny of Dara, Fionn, Amelia and James, predeceased by her parents Nancy & Donnchadh Long and her brothers Seán and Colm.
Áine will be sadly missed by her loving husband and family, sisters Máire (Lahart), Eibhlín (Murray) and Gobnait (Myers), brothers Déaglán, Ciarán and Éamonn, daughter-in-law Deirdre, son-in-law Cianan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Monday (February 24th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (February 25th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Riverstick which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd.
