Al (Alphonsus) McGeough

The death has occurred of Al (Alphonsus) McGeough, 21 Oriel Park, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday, 15th December, peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his father Patrick & mother Josephine, daughter Louise and brothers Peader & Packie.

Lovingly remembered by his loving wife Margaret & Jaimi Leigh. Al will be sadly missed by his sons & daughters; Lynda (Mickey), Amanda (Paul), Shane (Nicola), Declan (Charlene), Alo (Christine), Marty, Deborah (Stephen) & Kelly (Lee), his cherished grandchildren, sisters Veronica McCaffrey & Josephine McCusker, brother Eugene, extended family and many friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Al's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80, from 5pm - 9pm on Thursday (please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times) and thereafter at his residence (house private, please) until removal on Saturday morning to arrive at St.Patrick's Church, Corracrin, for 11am funeral Mass; https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-catholic-church-corracrin. Burial afterwards in The Church of the Holy Family Cemetery, Ballyoisin. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses or Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.
