Alan (Hefty) Buckley

BUCKLEY (Carrigaline, Co. Cork): On September 30th, 2023, peacefully at home in Heron’s Wood, ALAN (Hefty) (Late of MA/COM) (Formerly of Dolphin Rugby Club and Kinsale Yacht Club), dearly loved husband of Aoife (Horgan) and much adored father of Rory and Síofra.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, parents Denis and Bernie, brother Mark, parents-in-law Brendan and Patsy, sisters-in-law Yvonne and Mary and her husband Niall, nephew Casey, niece Caelan, relatives and a wide circle of friends especially John and Alison.

 

Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road, of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Tuesday (October 3rd) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday (October 4th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield which can be viewed on here

Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea.
