It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alan Byrne on Thursday 27th November. Alan passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, and in the care of the staff of Torrevieja University Hospital, Spain.
Predeceased by his parents, brother and best friend David, baby brother Brendan, and nephew John.
Alan, beloved husband of Lillie; much loved Dad of Peter, Deirdre (O’Toole), Gráinne (Barrett), and step-dad to Moya (Doyle); adored Grandad of Aoife, Katie, John, Nick, Lucy, Charlie, J.P., and Malcolm, Lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Anne, sons-in-law David and Frankie, daughter-in-law Louise, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at St. Joseph's Chapel of Rest old Johnstown, Navan (C15 C425) on Friday from 3pm to 6pm. Arriving to the Church of the Assumption, Dunsany on Saturday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed live on http://www.youtube.com/@joefinneganmedia. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
