Alan Frank Harrisson (B.E.M)

HARRISSON, Alan - passed away peacefully on the 9th October 2024 in his 89th year surrounded by his loving and caring family in the gentle care of the staff of the Mater Hospital.

Deeply loved and sadly missed by Carmel, his childhood sweetheart and wife, devoted Dad of Anne (Delaney), Susan (O'Donnell) and Frank, cherished father-in-law of Richard, Elaine and the late Ben, treasured grandfather of Susan, Stephen, Ross, Cal, Keely, Lea, Iseult, step grandchildren Sarah, Nathan and the late Christine, their partners and great granddaughter River.

A much loved brother to Joan and Gail, brothers-in-law Peter, Dan and George, sisters-in-law Eileen and Kay, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many many friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his family home on Tuesday, 15th October from 4pm to 8pm. A funeral service for Alan will take place on Wednesday morning 16th October at 11am in St. Mobhi's Church, Church Avenue, Glasnevin DO9 ET99 and thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium (approximately 1pm). Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of The Mater Hospital Foundation.
