Alan Hanney

Alan Hanney of Delgany, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Glasthule, Co. Dublin, died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Thursday 4th September, 2025, in the compassionate care of Wicklow Hospice.

An artist whose creativity, vision and kind soul touched all those privileged to know and love him.

Lovingly remembered by his beloved daughter Kym, adored mother Sheila, cherished grandchildren Fiadh and Sadbh, much loved brothers Mick and Conn, devoted partner Iveta, son-in-law and friend Colm, sister-in-law Gerry, niece Nora and nephew John, extended family and his many friends.

Cremation Private. Donations, if desired, to the Wicklow Hospice.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Alan’s life, on Sunday 7th September from 3.00pm, in the Harbour Bar, Bray.
