The death has occurred of

Alan James Palmer

Ranelagh, Dublin

PALMER, Alan James (Mountain View Road, Ranelagh, Dublin 6), 27th January 2026. Peacefully, at home, with his beloved wife Nora by his side, after years of illness which he fought with dignity and bravery. He will be forever missed by his heart broken wife Nora whom he adored for over 38 years. Cherished son of Noel and the late Dorothy; much loved brother of Dorothy, Gary, Karen and Audrey. Alan will be especially missed by his many sisters in law and brothers in law. He was an adored uncle to his many nieces and nephews all of whom he had a special relationship with and who loved him dearly. He is now at home with his deeply loved Mum and nephew Andrew (who passed away last year).

He was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, who enriched the lives of everyone he met. He will remain with us forever in our hearts.

May he rest in peace.
