The death has occurred of
Alan Mc Govern, 25 Carrick St., Kells, Co. Meath, aged 54 years.
Suddenly, at his residence, 20th February 2023.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Molly and his brother Sean and is survived by his loving daughter Jade Scuffil, grandson Alex, sisters Nualagh, Margaret, Dorothy, Michelle, Maírin, Carol, Bernadine, Jeanne Paula, brothers, Patrick, Oliver, Adrian, his beloved nieces and nephews who he absolutely adored, his uncle George, in-laws, and a very large circle of family and friends in the Kells area.
Alan will repose at the residence of his sister Jeanne Paula 28 Bective Place (A82E8P0)
on Thursday from 4-8pm
House Strictly Private Thereafter, Please.
Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am via Farrell St., Cross St., John St.,
to arrive at St Colmcille’s Church for Funeral Mass at 11am
which can be viewed on
followed by burial in St Colmcille's Cemetery.
Alan will be fondly remembered as one of Kells' most gifted handball players, having won many national titles on behalf of his beloved Kells' Handball Club over many years.
Alan had a great sense of style and dress and a wonderful charm and wit which won the hearts of many people and a passion for the music of Michael Jackson.
His sudden and untimely death has deeply saddened his family and the greater community of Kells.
