The death has occurred of
Alan McMeekin
Peacefully, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family in the great care of the doctors, nurses and carers at Sligo University Hospital and North West Hospice.
Predeceased by his baby daughter Margaret and his brother David.
Beloved husband of Una and dear father of Gwyneth, Sheila Foley and Helen.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law Phelim and Colin, grandchildren Matthew, Cillian, Ella, Aoife and Darragh, brothers Duncan and Alister, sisters-in-law Pauline, Mary and Tina, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
At Rest
Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Sunday 17th August from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Funeral will arrive to Sligo Presbyterian Church, Church Street, Sligo on Monday 18th August at 1:00pm for Funeral Service. Funeral will proceed to McGowan’s Crematorium, Collooney, Co. Sligo (F91 AKW5) for a Cremation Service after.
