Alan O'CONNOR

The death has taken place of Alan O’Connor (Dundrum and Northampton, England). Loving father of Simon (Boston, USA) and Gemma (Nottingham, England) and loving grandfather of Grace, Sarah and Hazel. Sadly missed by his mother Eileen, siblings Clive and Joy, his son, daughter, granddaughters, cousins, relatives and friends.

 

Alan spent his life in the pub trade, mostly as a landlord in England, where he will be missed by his many lifelong friends.

 

The family is very grateful to the staff, nurses and doctors at St Vincent’s University Hospital for the special kindness and care Alan received.

 

Alan will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Wednesday afternoon (March 20th) from 3pm to 5pm and on Thursday (March 21st) prior to his removal to the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross D6W HY98 for a service to celebrate his life at 3.45 pm.
