Alan Richardson

Richardson, Alan (The ICEMAN) – 25th October 2025, (Portmarnock and formerly of Belcamp, St Joseph’s Mansions, Dublin 1).

 

Peacefully but unexpectedly surrounded by his loving wife, sons and family, in the wonderful care of staff at ICU North Beaumont Hospital.

 

Beloved husband and soul mate of Amanda and loving father and best pal to Odhran and Fionn, adored son of Tom (Roger) and the late Jean, cherished brother of Rhonda, Lesley, Vivienne, Thomas and Keith, much loved son-in-law of Louise and the late Ian.

 

Alan will be very sadly missed by his wife, sons, dad, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nephew, best friend Ricky, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, large circle of friends and The wider Harness Racing Community, Ireland, UK, Canada and France.

 

Reunited in heaven with his loving mam Jean and all his loved ones gone before him.

 

May he rest in eternal peace.

Reposing at his father’s home on Sunday afternoon November 2nd from 3pm to 6pm.

Removal on Monday morning to the Church of Our Lady Of Lourdes, Sean Mc Dermott Street arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery Ext.
