Alan Shekleton

The death has occurred of Alan Shekleton, Ballyhoe House, Coolderry, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, in his 95th year, on Thursday, 19th March, 2020. Predeceased by his loving wife Andrena, his brothers Bertie and Lionel and his sister Dorothy. Deeply regretted by his daughter Gladys, sons Tom and Douglas and his sister Vivienne. He will be sadly missed by his loving family David, Anne, Fiona, Nicola, Sarah, Catherine, Ruth, Jessica, Jason, Amy, relatives and close circle of friends.

Safe in the arms of Jesus

A private cremation will take place on Sunday due to the government directive and HSE guidelines on public gatherings. The house is strictly private due to these guidelines. A service of Remembrance for Alans life and burial of his ashes will take place at a later date.

For those who would have liked to attend the funeral or to have called to the house but due to the current restrictions cannot, a personal message can be left on the Condolence book in section below 'Condolences'.
