Alan (Sting) Whelan

Whelan Alan (Sting) (11th May 2023) (Clondalkin and late of Drimnagh) peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family; beloved husband of Lorna and much loved father of Karina, Keith, Amanda and Shauna, loving son of the late Peggy and Michael; sadly missed by his loving wife, children, son-in law Robbie and Jason, Keith’s partner Stacey, grandchildren Holly, Tori, Katelyn, Ryan, Rocco and Esḿee, his four legged pals Jessie and Bonnie, sisters, brothers, Gary his best friend and brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends especially all his gym buddies and Military Comrades.

Reposing at his home on Sunday from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Rowlagh and afterwards to Newlands Cross Cemetery for Cremation. The family have asked that you wear a bright colour of choice in honour of Alan.
