Alasdar MacCANA
Ex. captain of the Irish Army. Formerly of Spiddal, Co. Galway. Peacefully, at home, in his 102nd year. Reposing at his home on Saturday from 12 noon. Removal at 6pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 1pm with burial afterwards in Coilleach Cemetery, An Spideal. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul.
