Albert (Albie) O'CALLAGHAN

Dundrum, Dublin / Sandymount, Dublin

(Formerly of Ardamine, Co. Wexford) after a long illness bravely borne, in his 74th year. (peacefully) in the Hawthorn ward, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved husband of Veronica (Ronnie) and dear father of Ciara (Durham), Grainne (Wright) and Ross (Rosco), much loved brother of the late Joan (Mangan), Irene (Behan) and Bernie (McErlaine).  He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, son, sons-in-law Simon and Gordon, daughter-in-law Caroline and his adoring grandchildren Sam, Abby, Pippa, Max, Toby, Nick, Jack, Albie and Kara and all his extended family and friends.

 

Reposing at his home from 4.00pm to 7.00pm on Sunday the 12th of March.  Funeral Mass on Monday the 13th of March at 10.30am in the Church of the Holy Cross Dundrum, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. John’s Oncology Ward, Crumlin Hospital. Donation box will be placed in the Church.
