WOODS (Rochestown, Cork and formerly of Woodlawn, Limerick): On 4th January 2023, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, ALBERT (retired teacher, Holy Cross Primary School, Mahon), dearly beloved husband and best friend of Caroline (née Condon), much loved father of Niall, Ailbhe and Darragh, dear brother of Marian, Pat, Declan, Seamus, Nora, Niall and the late Tony.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Friday (January 6th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 12.30pm on Saturday (January 7th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Rochestown which can be viewed on

Funeral afterwards to St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd.
