The death has occurred of
Alec Byrne
Alec Byrne of Woodlands, Glen of the Downs, Greystones, Co. Wicklow. February 27th 2025 peacefully surrounded by his devoted wife and daughters while in the exceptional loving care of all the amazing staff at ICU, St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Remembered with love by his beloved wife Jean (née Kennedy) , daughters Catherine and Aine, sons-in-law Jerry and Peter, his adored grandsons Óisin and Eoin, extended family, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his home on Saturday March 1st. Funeral Mass on Sunday March 2nd at 1pm in St. Mochonog’s Church, Kilmacanogue after which Alec will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
May he rest in peace.
As light fades into darkness, and your body
Yearns for rest.
