On July 2nd 2024, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.

Very deeply regretted by his loving daughters Caroline and Sandra, son Terence, sons-in-law Ger and Trevor, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandchildren Sarah, Daniel, Keith, Aimee, Dermot, Adam and Shane, great grandchildren Sophie, Ella, Dylan, Megan, Paisley and Kameron, sisters Rita and Monica, brother Tom, sister-in-law Margaret, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Thursday, July 4th, from 3.30pm to 5pm.

Funeral will arrive on Friday, July 5th, at St. John's Cathedral, for Requiem Mass at 11am, Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (extension) Cemetery.

Alfie's Funeral Cortége will pass the family residence after Mass to enable neighbours and friends to pay their respects.

A sincere thank you to the Staff of Roseville Nursing Home, St. John's Hospital and University Hospital Limerick for their care of Alfie throughout his illness and Alfie's G.P. Dr. Liam Holmes for his support.
