The death has occurred of
Alfie MONK
MONK Alfie (Legavoureen Park, Drogheda, Co Louth)
30th March 2020 (peacefully), in the care of the staff at Louth County Hospital, Dundalk. Beloved husband of Gladys and dearly loved father of Rodney, Jackie and Gary. Sadly missed by his wife and family, daughters-in-law Amanda and Sheila, son-in-law Jeff, grandchildren Lewis, Zoe, Louise, Caroline and Hannah, his brother Eddie, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Alfie, a player in the 1957 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Louth team, will be sadly missed by the GAA community.
Respecting current national health guidelines, funeral will take place privately. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot due to current restrictions, please leave a message for the family in the Condolences section below. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
