The death has occurred of Alfreda McHale: Leamington Spa U.K and formerly of Mountscribe, Kinvara, Co. Galway Ireland.
Alfreda peacefully passed away with her family by her side at her home in Leamington Spa on Thursday, 11th September 2025, aged 76 years. She leaves behind her devoted and loving husband, Pat, who cared for Alfreda throughout her illness. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Alfreda was especially known by many for her outstanding artwork and numerous displays.

Alfreda will be resting at her Leamington Spa home on Friday, 19th September, before being taken to St. Peter’s Church at 6pm. The Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, 20th September, at 12noon.

Alfreda had a great passion for the west of Ireland, therefore her burial will take place in Kinvara, Galway.

On Friday, 3rd October, Alfreda will rest at her late parents’ home Mountscribe Gallery Kinvara Co. Galway H91 PY2D from 3 p.m. for family and friends to offer their condolences. At 7 p.m. she will then be taken to St. Ciaran’s Church, Doorus, Kinvara, where she will rest overnight. The Mass and burial will take place on Saturday, 4th October, at 12noon.

The family has requested no flowers, but if desired, a donation in Alfreda’s memory would be gratefully received by the Motor Neurone Disease Association link below.
