Alice Byrne (nee Pender), Clogrennane, Carlow and formerly of Ballybannon, Carlow, passed away peacefully on 25th November 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her brother Michael and her sisters Marion and Pauline.

Beloved wife of Ned and adored mother of John-Joe.

Alice will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter-in-law Gemma, grandchildren Brídín and Ned, brothers Dan, Tony and Tom, sisters Margaret, Phyllis, Tess and Rose, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow, on Wednesday, November 27th, from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St. Fintan’s Church, Ballinabranna, Co. Carlow followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The Byrne family would like thank most sincerely the management and staff of Beechwood Nursing Home for all their kindness.
