GIBSON, Alice (née Howe), Rathfarnham, Dublin on 5th October 2024. Peacefully, at St James’s Hospital. Wife of the late Dr Alex Gibson. Predeceased by her siblings Dick, Aimee and George and her brother-in-law Jerry and sister-in-law Ruth. Beloved mother of Trisha, Lesley, Peter, Jillian and David. Mother-in-law of Dennie, Ali and Louisa and Granny Alice to Cianan, Emily and Holly. Also special ‘granny’ to our cherished family pet Lexi. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law Millicent, relatives, many friends and neighbours. With many thanks to the medical teams at St James’s Hospital and the staff at The Gascoigne Nursing Home.
Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham (D14 W029) on Friday (October 11) from 4pm to 6pm. A private cremation will be followed by A Service of Thanksgiving on Saturday (October 12) at 12.30 pm in Christ Church, Rathgar, Dublin 6.
