Alice Hennessy
(née Lynch)

The death has occurred of Alice Hennessy (née Lynch) Dún Aonghus, Riverstown, Ardee, County Louth. Peacefully in her 85th year, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Alice, loving mother of Anne, John, Liam, Maeve and Ailish. Predeceased by her beloved husband Billy, parents Nick and Marie, brothers Nickey, John and Barney and sister Annie Minnock. Sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, Brian, Brian and Paul, daughters-in-law Michelle and Pauline, grandchildren Conor, Sarah, Suzanne, David, Laura, Emma, Andrew, Mark, Erin, Eimear, Mary, Orla and Róisín, brothers Peter and David, sisters Marie Lynch, Lil Byrne, Margaret O’Brien and Catherine Clarke, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her residence on Friday, 6th December, 2-8pm and Saturday, 7th December 12-5pm. Removal on Sunday morning, 8th December leaving her residence at 11am walking from Christ the King to The Church of The Nativity, Ardee arriving for mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.

 

HOUSE STRICTLY PRIVATE OUTSIDE REPOSING HOURS.

 

Family flowers only. Funeral mass can be viewed on the parish webcam. Donations, if desired, to Ardee Hospice Homecare.

 

In the interest of health and safety, for those attending the wake, parking will only be allowed at Philip Halpenny’s Grain Store (A92 WD98) where a shuttle bus service will be provided.
