The death has occurred of
Alice (Leish) O'Brien
O’Brien (Ballindangan Cross, Mitchelstown) On November 25th, 2021, peacefully, in her 101st year, at Cork University Hospital, ALICE (Leish). Beloved daughter of the late William & Alice and loving sister of the late Jack, Julia (Molan), Hannah (Casey) and Kitty. Sadly missed by her loving niece, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, extended family, relatives, her fellow residents and carers in Unit 2, St. Stephen’s Hospital, Sarsfield Court, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown on Saturday evening (27th November) from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral home will be walk through only. Requiem Mass on Monday (29th November) in Ballindangan Church at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Dunmahon Cemetery. Leish’s funeral cortege will travel to the graveyard via Ballindangan Cross, Killemera and Dunmahon.
