Somers (née McGrath) Alice (Clontarf, Dublin and formerly North Strand) – October 19, 2023, peacefully in the care of Raheny House Nursing Home, beloved daughter of the late Tommy and Kitty and sister of the late Tom; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Jimmy and children Jimmy, Derek and Amanda, son-in-law Kevin, her adored grandchildren Jack, Dan, Alice and Aidan, her sister Sheila, brothers Jimmy and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, kind neighbours and her many friends in particular her beloved dog, Lenny, who brought such comfort to her life in recent years.
Reposing at Kirwan’s Funeral Home, Fairview Strand D03 EC52, on Monday evening (October 23) with family in attendance from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning (October 24) at 10 o’clock in St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf D03 TY23. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Cemetery.
