Alphonsus (Phonsie) Sawyer, Raheen, Clara, Co. Offaly, November 13th 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family in his 79th year. Pre-deceased by his sister Nuala, Sadly missed by his loving wife Bridget, sons Alfie, Patrick, Ken, Brendan and Gerard, beloved daughter Anita, brothers Aidan, Dermot and Damian, sisters Nena and Deirdre, daughters in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with government guidelines, Phonsie will repose at Flynn’s Funeral Home, Moate, on Monday from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Tuesday to St Brigid’s Church, Clara, arriving at 10:50am for Funeral Prayers. Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Burial afterwards in Donegan Cemetery, Mount Temple.
