Andrew (Andy) Comerford

Andrew (Andy) Comerford, Clover, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny died August 5th peacefully in St. Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny.

 

Pre-deceased by his brothers John, Paddy, Tim and Mikie, sisters Peggy and Patty. Andy will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Margaret, sons Andrew and James, daughters Brigid, Margaret and Clare, sons-in-law Kevin and James, daughter-in-law Margaret, grandchildren John, Isabelle, Tom, Katie and Kevin, brother Davy, sisters Statia and Sr. Brigid (Bridie), sister-in-law Phil, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours.

 

Reposing at his home (R95A2H5) on Wednesday August 7th from 4pm to 8pm with prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday August 8th at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Gowran followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Thursday morning. Family flowers only. Donations to the Irish Kidney Association if desired at ika.ie.

The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Kilkenny Dialysis Centre, and thank them for the outstanding care and attention shown to Andy over the last number of years.
