The death has occurred of
Andrew (Andy) John Challacombe
It is with our deepest regret that we inform you of the death of Andrew (Andy) John Challacombe of Lough Marsh, Church Cross, Skibbereen (Formerly of Bridgend, South Wales). On March 22nd 2026, in the care of Bantry General Hospital and after a long stay in Skibbereen Community hospital ANDY, dearly missed by his loving wife and soul mate Cheryl and daughters Jessica and Emma . Sadly missed by his dear grandchildren Carys, Sam and James, son-in-law Matt, sister and brother-in-law Katherine and John, nieces and nephew Cliodhna, Ffion and Rory, father-in-law Alun, brother-in-law and his wife Mark and Jackie and all his close friends and extended family .
Funeral will be held at Ringaskiddy Crematorium on Wednesday, 25th March at 4pm. All are welcome to join in celebrating Andy's life at the Eldon Hotel, Bridge St., Skibbereen at 7pm.
Andy's family wish to thank the First Responders, Ambulance Crew and Skibbereen Community Hospital for all the care and attention he received.
