Andrew T Duggan

Andrew Thomas Duggan Esq. of Nanuet New York died unexpectedly on Friday, February 2, 2024. Andrew, “Andy” graduated from Fordham University and Brooklyn Law School. He then became a member of the Operating Engineers, Local 14-14b where he worked for over 40 years.

Andy, our dear brother, was a bright light in our family. His infectious smile and laughter could light up a room. He had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved. His passion and enthusiasm for life were contagious, and he had a way of bringing out the best in all of us. He loved to travel. Andy explored the world capturing breath taking moments through his photography. He reveled in the great outdoors, hiking and scuba diving, but his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Andy’s love for his parents was unparalleled, and he was a shining example of devotion and compassion. He had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother, finding solace and strength in his faith. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.

Andy is predeceased by his father, Andrew J. Duggan. His dear mother, Hannah T. Duggan, passed away 4 days after him. He is survived by his siblings; Ann-Marie, Tommy and Cathy, their spouses and their children, as well as a daughter, Caroline. He will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends far and near.

Rest in Peace, dear Andy. Your love, laughter and adventurous spirit will never fade from our hearts. We adored you.
